Hidden details that may be robbing your engine performance

There's an old saying, "what you don't know, can't hurt you". That may be true when comes to some things in life, but not when it relates to your engine's performance or efficiency.

This is a close up of a 35,000 mile engine air filter that was long over due for replacement. Depending on driving conditions, such as dusty roads or stop and go driving, your engine's air filter may experience longer or shorter service life.

This what a fresh engine air filter looks like. Of course over time, while doing its intended job, all engine air filters will slowly start to get dirty and plugged up eventually reducing the ability for the engine to easily take in air.

Here are both filters side by side. Imagine jogging and then putting a scarf over your face while running. Which would be easier for "your engine" with or without something blocking your air intake?

Remember, details like these are sometimes overlooked by other shops because they don't/can't carry every single air filter for every car they work on. Whereas, we specialize in Infiniti cars and only carry Genuine Factory Replacement Parts that are guaranteed to fit and work correctly on every Infiniti model.
